This week we reviewed the skeleton:


























And we also learned about the front, side, and back muscles of the torso:










































I had never seen the serratus anterior muscle before, so it was really interesting to see it on a muscular model.

Figure Drawing Class #2

Same model as first class. Front, back, and side view of skull studies.

I tried to focus more on the interior parts of the skull such as the zygomatic arch instead of the outline.

I did not really draw the skull last class and my drawings felt better after this class.

Figure Drawing Class #1

8/30/19

Our first class was cut an hour short, but here my drawings of the model from the front, back, and side view.

We were told to focus on the pronounced bones such as the pelvic bones, scapulae, and clavicles of the model because we learned about the skeleton. The model had large trapezius and deltoid muscles by his shoulders that I found challenging to draw.
